Tension builds up after the final battle!

After winning the final game that decided the winner of the Pinoy Big Battle, the winning team not only got their full food budget, but also got to choose their house. House B opted to go back to their original house, and will be known as House A once again. With whoops and cheers, the housemates regained their clothes and their pool as reward for their hard work. The now-House B returned to their original dwelling with long faces and heavy hearts. After losing several games in succession, they were at a loss with where they were and the huge gap between points.



House A claimed that teamwork was they key of their success, and cheered each one on the entire time. House B, on the other hand, found it difficult to overcome their initial loss and the pressure they put upon themselves. Patrick, Hermes and Rob also had issues of their own against Marielle. With Tom gone during the deciding game, Marielle commented that had he been there, they would have had a better chance. This irked the boys, feeling degraded and useless. The comment was unnecessary, and instead came across as insulting.

This was not the only friction caused by the battle. After the game, both houses approached each other to offer congratulations. House A members called out to Rob, but he ignored them and even reacted aggressively, taking offense at their laughter. Rob felt that the other housemates, particularly Paul Jake, were laughing at him. He could not stand being laughed at by the winning team. In fact, he regarded them as “the enemy”. House A was quite disappointed at his negative reaction. They could not believe he would treat them badly, especially since he originally was with their team. Even Rica was surprised at how he conducted himself. Rob went out to be by himself, but returned inside the house after overhearing comments from the other house.
