PBB Housemates celebrate Christmas!

Family reunions during Christmas are the sweetest things. This is what Big Brother must have had in mind when he had the parent housemates play a special game wherein they can be rewarded with the chance to see their children if they win.

The four were sent to the confession room to complete black-and-white picture puzzles of their children. With Tibo and Kath having a difficult time forming their sets, Mariel and Patrick were the ones who won the special opportunity of wrapping Christmas gifts for their children. These were then sent to their sons who were clearly pleased with the surprise. However, Tibo and Kath's sons still received Christmas gifts unbeknownst to them. After all, Christmas is all about giving.

At the same time, all the parents were still given the privilege to see their kids. And it was Annina, asked by Big Brother, who helped send the children into the confession room. Tibo and Kath were blindfolded and were only able to touch their kids. They were both emotional in hearing and hugging their kids. Kath was even more driven into tears upon finding out her originally Spanish-speaking son has learned to speak a few Tagalog words. Meanwhile, Patrick was spoke to his son he sorely missed while Mariel was very enthusiastic upon seeing her cute son in a Santa Claus outfit. After the visits, each of the parent housemates thanked Big Brother for giving them a special present this Christmas.

Annina was also touched with the short but stirring reconcialiations she witnessed inside the confession room. She evidently felt for the parent housemates and offered them hugs after they all went out the confession room. "It touched my heart. It's everything to them," she said. "(I hope) it gives them the power to continue staying inside the house [sic]." And when she saw that Mariel broke down by the pool, Annina even asked her if she could get her anything. Mariel was grateful for the offer but told Annina she wanted to be alone for awhile.

Around 12 o'clock, the housemates were called into the confession room. Big Brother revealed that he had prepared a surprise Noche Buena for them. It was indeed a surprise because the Noche Buena the housemates were going to have were food that came from their families and loved ones. Only that, these were initially set on floaters in the swimming pool and the housemates still had to swim into the cold water to fetch them. But even so, the consequence wasn't such a big deal since they couldn't wait to get their hands - and mouths - on it. Afterwards, they enjoyed the Christmas Eve by feasting over such delicious meals and fooling around the pool in reindeer and poinsettia headdresses.

The next morning, "Santa Claus" secretly entered the house and left presents under the housemates' Christmas tree. Since Tibo was the first to wake up, he was the first one who saw the gifts. Could it be more special presents for the housemates? Keep watching PBB Double Up to find out!
