Is there tension building up between ex-PBB housemates Patrick Villanueva and Jimson Ortega?

Patrick Villanueva was part of the second batch of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemates to enter the house. For his initial task, the 32-year-old bank credit officer from Baguio had to pretend to be husband to the lovely Kathleen Ortega right in front of Kath’s real hubby, Jimson Ortega. The first week of the task was full of tension as the pretend couple had to act sweet in front of Jimson who soon gave in to his emotions. The three failed in their task and the household was punished with a week of hunger.

Long after the task and Jimson’s eviction, Patrick remained close to Kath. In an interview with ABS-CBN.com, Patrick denied having intentions other than friendship and admiration for the Fil-Spanish lady. “Ina-admire ko talaga si Kath. She reminds me so much of my wife, kung paano siya nag-sacrifice, ‘yung sakripisyo niya bilang asawa.

Patrick added that being with Kath actually helped him have a deeper understanding of his wife. Both Patrick and Kath went through their own marital problems that were somewhat similar, though the two came from opposite ends of the situation. Kapag nag-uusap kami, magkaiba ‘yung side namin. Every time may conversation kami, nagiging learning process.”

Now that they’re both outside the PBB house, how did Patrick and Jimson react to each other? Actually, naiintindihan naman naming pareho na it’s just a task, though mahirap talaga.”

Patrick also explained that he doesn’t harbor ill feelings against Jimson and that he understands how hard the task was for him. Ako naman nasayangan lang, kaya I just thought of a way na makabawi sa ibang housemates.”

To make up for the failure, Patrick asked Big Brother if he could perform a sacrifice to regain half of the house’s weekly budget. Kuya gave in and had him stand for 12 hours straight on top of a pushcart. Patrick talked about the important lesson he learned for that sacrifice. “Isang malaking bagay ‘yung pagiging selfless ko. Kasi ako, never akong gumawa ng anumang charitable work or good deed sa hindi ko kakilala. Until the last day, lagi kong naiisip ‘yun.
