Yan ang inihahanda ng mga housemates ngayon, just two hours or less before the live eviction night. Pinatawag kase ni Big Brother si Mariel at pinahula kung sino ang isang espesyal na tao para sa kanila ang magcecelebrate ng birthday niya this week.

Is there tension building up between ex-PBB housemates Patrick Villanueva and Jimson Ortega?

Patrick Villanueva was part of the second batch of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemates to enter the house. For his initial task, the 32-year-old bank credit officer from Baguio had to pretend to be husband to the lovely Kathleen Ortega right in front of Kath’s real hubby, Jimson Ortega. The first week of the task was full of tension as the pretend couple had to act sweet in front of Jimson who soon gave in to his emotions. The three failed in their task and the household was punished with a week of hunger.

Who's who, housemates?

The housemates might just have forgotten the age-old advice "It's rude to point" when Big Brother shot to them all the thought-provoking questions about their fellow housemates. However, still strong-willed and head on the game, not even one of them refused to reveal whom they think were the wallflowers, the airheads and the plastics inside the house.

Cathy's heart torn between Hermes and Johan!

Eeny meeny miny moe... Johan or Hermes or Hermes or Johan? Well, if only it could be that easy for Cathy to choose! But no such luck because the two boys keep on messing with her mind... and heart.

In what ways, you ask? That's not such a hard thing to point out, is it? For one, just look at Johan and Hermes going to the lengths of seeking Cathy's attention and approval! And the latest? Oh yes, those well-thought and nicely planned surprise special dates!

Ex-PBB housemate Sam Pinto thinks Mariel Soriño is a suck up!

Model and fashion designer Sam Pinto became a Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemate in the middle of the season, which became a big challenge for her to adjust to the other housemates who were already bonded with each other for several weeks prior to her entrance. “At first it was very hard for me kasi bonded na sila. May mga nangyari na sa kanila na hindi ko alam. Kapag pinaguusapan nila ‘yung mga past weekly tasks hindi ako maka-relate. Pero hinayaan ko na lang. Later on naman I was able to catch up,” Sam shared in an interview with ABS-CBN.com.

Hermes vs. Johan: The Face-off Round!

Here's a quick trackback to the past: In the early days of their stay, Johan told Cathy that he liked her but Cathy refused his affection because she liked Hermes more, who also likes her just as well. Some people would think Johan would know better to give way for the Cathy-Hermes relationship to bloom but as we can see in the present, Johan refuses to give up without a fight! So voila, a bizarre love triangle for all of us!

Patrick Villanueva is ready for whatever opportunities may come his way after his stint as a housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up. Patrick said he is open into giving showbiz a try, even as he knows that it will put him and his family under public scrutiny. “Even before I entered the Big Brother house, marami na kaming sacrifices na ginawa, tulad ng I had to leave my job. Maraming changes talaga sa pamumuhay namin as a couple and as a family. We just have to be prepared. Kung anuman ‘yung mga haharapin namin, ang importante may understanding lagi at maipaliwanag ng mabuti ang situation sa mga kids.”

Is the Melason love team now for real?

Absolutely not far from happening, you guys! Because not even the Melayo Act of 2010 can keep Melai and Jason down from the silent screaming of their hearts! Cheesy much, eh? But really, what is there left to hide? Because even with three housemates - Kath, Hermes and Johan - as witnesses, they still braved up and spoke of their true feelings for each other!

“Team” is the name of the game!

It’s another team game on Game Uber, with the new year as its theme. The housemates were divided into 3 teams. Kath, Johan and Jason were on the red team, while Mariel, Hermes and Paul Jake formed the blue team. The remaining housemates – Cathy, Tibo and Melai – made up the yellow team. There was minimal talking during the task, with each one focused on packing 2010 slippers in individual bags, within 2010 seconds.

Ex-PBB housemate Patrick Villanueva thinks Jason Francisco is ‘strategizing’!

In an interview with ABS-CBN.com following his eviction from Pinoy Big Brother Double Up, Patrick Villanueva explained why he found it hard to relate with the other 20-something housemates, something which led to him to become distant and quiet. “Hindi maaiiwasan na problem ‘yung age gap. Ayoko rin naman ipilit. Ayoko rin magmarunong o magmagaling, kasi lahat naman kami may sariling opinion. May mga topics na hindi ako maka-relate and ganoon din sila sa akin. Ilan lang ‘yung naka-bond ko, like sina Carol (Batay), Yuri (Okawa) and Tom (Rodriguez). Unfortunately nauna silang lahat umalis.”

Perhaps a true romantic at heart, Big Utol applied the saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" to Melai and Jason's pseudo love-hate relationship inside the Big Brother House.

Big Brother House passes Char Char Change!

Exactly how shocked the nominated housemates were upon finding out that they weren't anymore given the privilege of calling out to the people in the outside world? Well, not as shocked as they were upon hearing the news of Char Char Change!

C5 Boys!

Habang nagchichikahan sina Johan, Paul Jake at Melai eh napunta sila sa pagwonder about the possibility na maging katotohanan ang C5 Boys (refer: Pinoy Big Blast 2010, A Roaring Concert!) sa outside world.

Misunderstanding na patong-patong!

Kung akala ni Melai siya lang ang nahihirapan sa TRO (temporary restraining order) na ipinataw sa kanya, well, hindi totoo 'yun. Itong si Jason nga, nag-share kay Mariel na nahihirapan din siya na magkalayo sila e.
Naniwala naman kaya si Melai sa ni-reveal ng mga boys sa kanya na sa sobrang like ni Jason sa kanya, nag-woworry ito na magalit siya every time magkadikit sila ni Mariel? E 'yung kwento na gusto siyang i-kiss ni Jason?

As usual, usapang Jason nanaman ang kino-confide ni Melai kina Johan at Pap Tibs. Nag-selos kasi ng slight itong si Melai dahil nga ang partner ni Jason kanina e si Mariel, e dati oa lang alam niyang may crush dito si Jason.

So, bakit nga hindi kayo magkaintindihan?

Kaloka nanaman ang bagong challenge sa mga housemates. Tinambakan sila ng maraming plastic balls in 3 colors: blue, green at yellow.

Kuya's baaack!

Korek, balik PBB house na nga si Kuya! Super healthy at bibong-bibo ulit si Kuya. Mukhang good mood nga si Kuya dahil nagpakain pa siya sa mga housemate. Sayawan galore sila, party mode talaga para i-celebrate ang pagbalik ng bosing.

Winner na si Jason!

Kung pangalawang linggo nanag kulelat si Jason sa HoH game, sa Game Uber today, bumawi siya! Parang modified newspaper dance ang nangyari, pero once the music stops, may food silang pagpipiyestahan.

Ex-PBB housemate Sam Pinto admits Jake Cuenca courted her!

A day after she was booted out from the Pinoy Big Brother house, Sam Pinto appeared on The Buzz and there she revealed that Jake Cuenca courted her but when he got busy with the teleserye Tayong Dalawa, he suddenly stopped seeing Sam. When host Boy Abunda asked if it hurt her, Sam replied, “A bit, (but) after that wala na.” She also added has not yet dated anyone yet since the time Jake stopped pursuing her. When asked what message she would like to give to Jake, Sam answered shortly, “Nakita ko siya sa TV. He’s so famous now. I’m so happy for you.”

Five nominees make up the 12th: Melai, Tibo, Hermes, Cathy and Mariel!

The first time it happened was during PBB’s first season. Of the five remaining housemates, only Uma Khouny was saved, leaving the other four a big chance at making the Big 4 – or not. History repeated itself, though not at such a critical time. For the second time in PBB history, the number of nominees exceeded that of the safe ones. Out of 9 remaining housemates, 5 of them were placed on the line.

Paul Jake turns over the HoH title to Mommy Kath!

As a new week approaches, the much-coveted Head of House seat was again up for grabs, and Big Utol made sure that getting it would not be a walk in the park. The housemates donned cowboy outfits and were greeted with a mechanical bull set up in the activity area. For the first round, all housemates got the chance to ride the bull, and those who could hang on for 3 minutes would automatically advance to the next round. Melai, Kath and Cathy made it through, and Paul Jake rounded up the top four with 2.46 minutes. For the second round, they could only use one hand to keep themselves aboard. The final round was a showdown between the reigning HoH Paul Jake and Mommy Kath. For the deciding round, no hands were allowed. Though he could have stayed longer, Paul Jake let go at 59 seconds, giving Kath a better chance, which she definitely did not waste.
