Ex-PBB housemate Cathy Remperas looks back on her experience in ‘Big Brother Finland’!

Cathy Remperas bested her Pinoy Big Brother Double Up housemates for a chance to represent the Philippines in the Big Swap with Big Brother Finland. Cathy went to Finland and lived in their Big Brother house for one week while Finnish housemate Katlin Laas came to Kuya’s house and bonded with the Pinoy housemates. In a recent conversation with ABS-CBN.com following her eviction, Cathy shared that the Big Swap was one event in her life that she will forever treasure. “First time kong nakakita ng snow. Wow! Ang dami kong first time experiences. First trip outside the country, first trip sa Europe. Naiisip ko na ang swerte swerte ko kasi kahit wala ako ni piso nakapunta pa rin ako ng Europe. Dream ko kasi ‘yung nung bata pa ako.”

The Big Swap begins: Cathy lands in Finland as Katlin is welcomed inside the PBB House!

BB Finland, meet Cathy! At 4 a.m., Sunday, which is around 12:30 nn Manila time, Cathy finally sets foot in Finland. Escorted by none other but PBB's head honcho, Direk Laurenti Dyogi, she headed to Espoo, the site of Finland's Big Brother house. She arrived to a near-empty city, Sunday being a holiday of sorts. Cathy breathed in the cool air as she sent her warm greetings from beside the train tracks. Before even stepping inside the Big Brother house, Cathy already had a challenge to face. As fate would have it, all her luggage was accidentally left behind in Bangkok, which meant that she would start her first day with literally just the clothes on her back! How she would deal with this setback, especially with the extreme cold that comes with the winter season, is just one of the things to watch out for.

Katlin will not be able to arrive in the country on time for tonight's live telecast since the typhoon is hovering over Luzon. The flights were coming in late and some were cancelled.

One lucky housemate is bound for Big Brother’s House in Finland!

In line with the upcoming Big Swap, Big Brother engages all his housemates to a somewhat practice-interview. Incidentally, he had hired con-artists to play the roles of Big Brother executive producers abroad to perform the said duty. Basically clueless that it is a mere mock interview, all the housemates eagerly try their best to impress the so called executives not only with their English language proficiency, but also with their practical reasoning skills.
