Tom's single and his ideal gir!

Nakatulog na ang ibang housemates pero tuloy pa rin ang chikahan nina Yuri at Tom. Kung kanina, safe topics ang kwentuhan nila ni Carol, affairs of the heart naman ang pinag-bondingan nila ni Yuri.




Naikwento nga ni Tom ang tungkol sa ex niya, na itatago natin sa code name na TG (short for Tom's Girl). Half-Vietnamese, half-American siya na naging live-in partner ni Tom. Dati daw kasi, nag-cheat na TG, pero pinatawad niya ito at nagtiwala na hindi na uulit si TG. Kaya lang, nagkaroon pa sila ng isa pang issue, at parang gumanti effect si TG. One night, habang nakahiga sila, sadya pa niyang pinapakita kay Tom na ka-text niya 'yung ex-boy niya. E di syempre, nag-react si Tom!

May period of depression din itong si Tom, lalo na dahil laging minamaliit ni TG ang mga pangarap niya.Isa dito ang kagustuhan niyang maging artist, na never na daw mangyayari, according to TG. Na-realize ni Tom na hindi na talaga siya masaya sa sitwasyon nila, so the next night, nilabas niya for dinner si TG para magkaayos sila. The day after, nakipag-break na si TG sa kanya, dahil ang na-realize naman nito ay incompatible nga sila.

For Tom, super important ang chemistry, at aminado siyang mahirap hanapin 'yun. Naniniwala kasi si Tom sa equality sa isang relasyon, e usually daw may isang nagpapaka-submissive at nawawala na ang pagiging patas nila. Hindi lang naman pisikal ang tinitignan ni Tom, though agree siya na big factor 'yun to begin with. Pero pinagdiinan niya talaga na hindi 'yun ang tanging basis. Wala siyang specific standards para sa ideal girl, kasi falling in love has no process, rhyme or reason.

Nagka-girl na din siya na Pinay sa States, pero ngayon naman wala pa siyang special anyone. Any applicants?

He may have the face and the body of a model, but to people in his hometown, he is often called by many names like ‘Hilaw na Kano’ or ‘Bangaw Bangaw’ which is a term of a filthy kid. Tom would frequently get into fight with these people.

Life became more challenging when he migrated to the US to be with his family. He struggled with speaking in English and had a difficulty communicating with people around him. Tom finished college with a degree in Digital Animation, but still he couldn’t get a job in this field. He flew to Hongkong to pursue his passion, but instead he found romance which was unfortunately short lived.

Mataas naman ang tolerance ko sa mga tao. But probably ‘yung mga taong walang respeto at may masamang intention.
