On Pinoy Big Brother: Melai loses her 'dalagang Pilipina' image

Before her set date with a star, Melai was completely nervous. She simply couldn’t contain her excitement to see Jericho Rosales in person for the first time. Anxiously, she sat by the table with eyes closed, when suddenly a smack on her cheeks took her by surprise. But after opening her eyes, Melai almost fell off her chair upon catching sight of comedian Tado gladly offering her a bundle of isaw instead of a bouquet of flowers.


Surprisingly, Melai supposed dream date turned out to be a comic one. Tado’s humor and Melai’s antics happened to be a perfect combination for a slapstick act. It was in fact a fun-filled experience for the two, but sadly, Big Brother had to cut it short in order to give way for his real surprise to Melai.

While gladly sharing her comedy-date experience to all the housemates, Melai suddenly turned upside down upon seeing Jericho walk in Big Brother’s house holding ex-housemate Rocky’s pole of surrender on one hand, and her suitcase in the other. Melai finally lost her poise of being a dalagang Pilipina. Their romantic date soon began and when Jericho serenaded her and gave her a bouquet of flowers, tears of joy suddenly started falling from her eyes.

Unknown to Melai, all her housemates were fondly watching their date in the living room TV. And while the girls continuously shrieked with joy, Jason was silently sitting in one corner without taking his eyes off the screen. Do we smell jealousy in the air?
