Happy birthday, Tibo!

The year 2010 was on its way yet Big Brother still had last-minute surprises for the housemates. One of these was Tibo's kiddie birthday party, of which he didn't know about at first. The housemates kept it a secret from him, leading him to believe that all the preparations they were doing were only for the New Year's Ball. That made him think Big Brother and his housemates have forgotten about his birthday. Later in the confession room, he told Big Brother he couldn't have been any happier. It was because it was the first time he ever had a birthday party that he celebrated with friends. "Kahit nung highschool [at] college ako, kahit kain lang, kahit seven o'clock, wala talagang pumupunta na mga kaibigan ko sa bahay (Even when I was in high school and college, none of my friends came to our house to eat)," he shared.

Melai and Jason also had their shares of surprise. Since Jason was still on duty as the house servant on the night of Tibo's kiddie birthday party, Big Brother assigned him to clean up and prepare the venue for the celebration. And since Melai was going to be his date, she too was asked to help out with this endeavor. Together, they made sure that the night was going to be overflowing with fun.

The night came and the "new boys" awaited for their dates to come out to the party. When the "new girls" finally stepped out, there were automatic cheers from their dashing dates. The latter almost couldn't believe how lovely the boy housemates looked when dressed in wigs and gowns: Johan was in a hot red wig and a pink dress; Hermes pulled off the fly-away blond shoulder-length hair; Paul Jake sported an elegant black short bob; Jason amused everyone with his Tina-Turner-inspired wild hair and Tibo, the birthday boy, with long curly hair and clad in a detailed pink and dress gown. After that, they all sat down on the mini chairs and tables to start the party. It was then that Rica, who was the host for the night, revealed to Tibo that they were celebration his birthday. Not only did they enjoy the food but they also engaged themselves in games like the modified sack race and Trip to Jerusalem.

But the surprise for the year didn't end there. Sam also received a special surprise from Big Brother and it was a visit from her beloved pet dog Pharell. Pharell was let into the house to meet the housemates who played with him by the pool. However, Melai couldn't help but be afraid of Pharell because she has had too many bad encounters with dogs. In turn, Big Brother and the other housemates coached Melai to be Pharell's playmate for a few minutes so she could get close, play and feed Pharell. Later on, Sam cried when she said goodbye to her dog after the visit. Will Pharell's visit inspire Sam to get on with her fight to stay inside the house, or will it do otherwise? Don't miss out on PBB Double Up every night!
