Ex-PBB housemate Rica Paras names the ‘best’ and ‘fake’ housemates!

Sinabi ng latest evictee ng Pinoy Big Brother Double Up na si Rica Paras na marami sa kanyang mga kakilala ang nagpahayag ng kanilang kalungkutan ng mapalabas siya sa bahay ni Kuya. “They think that I could have done better, mas marami akong pwedeng masabi and ma-contribute sa mga tao sa labas.” Gayunpaman, naniniwala si Rica na marami pa siyang magagawa sa labas ng bahay. “Pero I feel like ‘yung totoong laban ko nandito sa labas at mas marami pa akong puwedeng gawin dito sa labas and I’m very excited talaga,” ani Rica.

Jason, Johan and Sam are the 11th set of nominees!

The housemates face the beginning of a new year minus a housemate and a weekly budget. Rica has already exited the house, but there were no tears for the season’s goddess. She left with gratitude for the experience and the opportunity to finally make up with her dad. Of course, her exit left Melai in tears. Good thing Tibo was there to provide support and words of encouragement. The concert also ended in disaster, with the housemates committing 4 mistakes above the allowed 10, thus losing their weekly budget. Yet, no bitterness came from the housemates. Despite their loss, they were still able to appreciate the fun times they had and the effort each poured into it. It seems like the housemates are finally learning that there is more to winning than material prizes.

Here's to the new year, housemates!

Fireworks display, blue and white balloons forming 2010, whistles in the form of party hats, overflowing food and night swimming - need the housemates ask for anything more fun to celebrate the New Year's Eve? Obviously, the answer is no and it showed in the super exciting celebration they had last night! Some of the boys even had little mischiefs going on in the swimming pool such as removing their underwears and pulling the girls into the water. They also shared the happiness they felt with their evicted housemates, whose names they shouted in greetings for them in the new year.

Happy birthday, Tibo!

The year 2010 was on its way yet Big Brother still had last-minute surprises for the housemates. One of these was Tibo's kiddie birthday party, of which he didn't know about at first. The housemates kept it a secret from him, leading him to believe that all the preparations they were doing were only for the New Year's Ball. That made him think Big Brother and his housemates have forgotten about his birthday. Later in the confession room, he told Big Brother he couldn't have been any happier. It was because it was the first time he ever had a birthday party that he celebrated with friends. "Kahit nung highschool [at] college ako, kahit kain lang, kahit seven o'clock, wala talagang pumupunta na mga kaibigan ko sa bahay (Even when I was in high school and college, none of my friends came to our house to eat)," he shared.
