Road trip, anyone?

With the end of the season only weeks away, the housemates realized that pretty soon, they’ll truly be parting ways. To counter this, they reverted back to their plans of seeing each other. A road trip to all their hometowns was best, though they decided it would be better to go when there was an occasion. That way, they would be able to experience the culture and eat all the yummy treats already prepared! Given tight scheds, they decided against going to all stops in a single trip. The hassle of rushing and packing would just defeat the purpose of catching up and having fun. Instead, they all agreed to just go to a few places per trip and savor the moment.

Tibo got caught up with all the planning, and went on about how beautiful it was at Malay-Balay. So amazing was the place, he claimed, that many celebrities chose to just chill in the quiet surroundings. Loud as Rica was, she agreed that peace and quiet was indeed a luxury she would enjoy. His in-laws’ land was full of native fruits and it would be great if the housemates could come when they were ripe for the picking. Ah, Papa Tibs could have a career in tourism!

Since the two teams – handpicked and headed by Johan and Paul Jake – could not communicate, it was KKK for lunch: kanya-kanyang kain. The groups ate separately from each other, cooking their own food and having their own conversations. Kath and Yuri were in the same team, and multi-lingual as she was, Yuri asked Kath to share some Spanish words. Jason joined in the discussion and actually tried stringing together words to make a statement. Still being characteristically a joker, he asked Kath the translation of “Luka-loka ka” (“You are crazy”). Bewildered, Kath nevertheless obliged: “Eres loca.” With a mischievous grin, Jason practices the line several times in preparation of teasing Melai with it. Ah, some things just don’t change, do they?

Keep watching PBB Double Up and see what other antics these housemates make. How are Kuya’s Darlings doing on their assigned tasks? Did they prove to be worthy house players, or was that all bark and no bite?
