Annina, Patrick say goodbye to housemates!
Christmas finally arrived inside the Big Brother House. The housemates were asked to gather around the living room for them to be able to open their special Christmas presents. Although surprised, they were pleased to find out their gifts - ranging from polo shirts and dresses to make-up kits and chocolate - came from their families from the outside world. What was more was that Big Brother also made them listen to short phone patches from their loved ones. Even Annina got to listen to her mom all the way from Germany! "I don't know how Big Brother reached her (Annina's mom)," she later said in the confession room. Like her, Jason got emotional upon hearing his mom's voice. But without a doubt, both of them seemingly felt happy upon hearing their mothers' voices.
Big Brother also announced the result of the housemates' weekly task. Upon Annina's arrival, Tibo, Kath, Sam and Patrick were asked to teach her four skills which included target shooting, flamenco dancing, sewing and making puto bumbong respectively. Fortunately for them, they were successful.
Another thing was that following through the Christmas Ball that happened last week, Big Brother rewarded Tibo and Hermes for doing a good job in being waiters. They were given the chance to take out a girl of their choice to a dinner date. Each armed with a red rose, Tibo chose Sam while Hermes invited Rica. All four of them spent a romantic evening, listening to the violinist play them songs as they devoured delectable dishes prepared for them by Big Brother. It was also then that they were given the chance to open their personal life stories with each other.
Meanwhile, it was already time for Annina to leave the Pinoy Big Brother house. Before the announcement of this week's evictee, she was fetched by her German boyfriend Sacha Schwan, whom she met from Big Brother Germany and was also a former housemate there. Both of them said their goodbyes to Big Brother inside the confession room where Annina also spoke about what she learned during her stay with the Pinoy housemates. "The most important lesson I learned from the housemates was that to continue being myself [sic]," she said.
Later on, the evictee of the week was announced. Among the three nominated housemates, Patrick received the lowest tallied save and evict votes (1.41%). Kath, on the other hand, got the highest with 4.96% while Cathy came in second (4.96%). "Napatunayan kong kaya kong makisama sa ibang tao at alagaan sila (I proved that I could get along with other people and take care of them as well)," he said proudly. Although saddened by the fact that he was leaving the Big Brother house, he couldn't be any happier to spend the New Year with his wife Aurora and their kids.
Speaking of the coming new year, will the housemates face harder challenges inside the house? Watch out for that by tuning in to PBB Double Up every night.
