Housemates welcome the new year with a twist!

At the end of the year inside the Big Brother house, the world turned upside down. Boys became girlies and girls became boylets. But before anybody gets the wrong idea, it's just that Big Brother asked the housemates to change roles for the New Year's Ball!
The girl housemates - Cathy, Kath, Mariel, Melai, Rica and Sam - were the first ones called into the confession room. Big Brother told them about the special double occasion that was about to take place: the TiBall, which was Tibo's birthday party and the New Year's Ball combined. They were obviously excited about it especially when they knew they were attending it in men's clothes, which meant the boy housemates would be wearing dresses. This, of course, wasn't the same reaction Big Brother had gotten from the boys who were a bit touchy on putting on women's clothing.



However, Hermes, Jason, Johan, Paul Jake and Tibo didn't have much of a choice. After their talk with Big Brother, they were immediately sent to the girls' room. There, they chose outfits from the pile of clothes of their girl housemates and along the way of their searches, they hooted and laughed about how dressing up as girls would amuse both their male and female friends in the outside world. Likewise, the girls also had so much fun grooming themselves in the clothes of their boy housemates in the other room. Then, both parties even had their own little runway shows after they were all dressed up.
Similar to the Christmas Ball last week, the girls-turned-boys had to ask the boys-now-turned-girls to be their dates to the TiBall. The new girlies all sat in the living room while they waited for the new boylets to come out to them one by one. When the boylets did, they each pulled on a gimmick for their invitations to be accepted by the girlies. Kath came in first and sang a Backstreet Boy song to Tibo, Mariel turned her invitation into a Party Like A Rockstar rap for Paul Jake, Rica came in as an injured basketball star to appease Tibo and Melai rocked a cowboy-inspired look with a Michael Jackson personality for Jason. Sam and Cathy, on the other hand, used the traditional straightforward Would-you-be-my-date technique on Johan and Hermes respectively.
The girlies wasted no time in answering to the invitations. As Big Brother instructed them, they kissed the boylets they chose to go to the TiBall with them. Some of them even got creative in saying yes like Johan, who came up with a little impromptu skit where he slipped down the floor and told Sam the words "See how I fall for you?" Tibo, likewise, cooked up such a long sweet answer for Rica, saying he was going to make the night extra special for her. Get ready to have a blast at the TiBall in tonight's PBB Double Up episode!
