Carol’s patience was tested, and she was surprised with a big smack from Cathy!

Today’s game had the housemates diving underwater in search of colored stones, with each color corresponding to a certain number of points. They had to shoot these stones into a basket, and the pair with the highest points would be declared the day’s champs. They seem to be spending quite a lot of time in the pool, as the housemates tried their hand at synchronized swimming. Kath was a natural, which made Sam’s job at leading the group a lot easier. The others were no strangers to water, either. Flinging a housemate into the pool is just one of their pool games. Carol, though, seemed on the verge of tears as she was having trouble keeping up. Swimming wasn’t one of her strong points, and this challenge would take an extra dose of effort on her part to keep up.

As if her patience and will were not tested enough, Carol still had to deal with living alongside Cathy and Hermes. The two were treated to a chocolate fondue date by Kuya, adding more pain to Carol’s already strained emotions. The two were not entirely oblivious to her reactions, but were also at a loss at how to deal with it properly. Hermes continued to cozy up to Cathy, though there were several times that she turned his actions aside. She would hit him with witty comebacks, though what was more intriguing was her landing a big smack on Carol instead.

During a poolside conversation with Jason, Cathy revealed that she used to crush on Paul Jake, but that waned after she felt that he had changed since they last were together. Jason was also part of her prospects for a time, but his quirks put a definite end to that. (Even Dengue spoke up about his dad’s bad moves!) Is it Carol’s turn now? Cathy may have surprised the rest with her spontaneous gesture, but Rica has the girls’ signature moves down pat. After several weeks of being with the different girls, she has discovered unique moves of each, and she proceeded to teach these to the other girls.

Yesterday was the first head of household game. What was presented as a typical game Uber proved to have so much more at stake. The “Wire Game Challenge” winner would be declared the Head of Household, and would be granted immunity from the next nomination. The unfortunate housemate with the longest time to accomplish the challenge would have the power to give 3 points to a housemate, but had to do so by saying it in front of the said housemate.
