Patience is rewarded with immunity!

Patience is a virtue, as the saying goes. Being stuck inside the PBB house for several months now has indeed made the housemates quite antsy, which is why they always seem to be itching for activities. The game of the day gives them the opposite, though, as the “Wire Game Challenge” calls for extreme focus and patience. The housemates were given three chances to get a curved wire across a series of curved wire. The housemates were able to do a test run of the activity. Unknown to them, the real thing would come later on, with an electrifying twist: every time their wire rod touches the base wire, the housemate at the other end would be electrocuted. The one with who took the longest time would handle an explosive of some sort, while the housemate with the shortest time spent gets an amazingly big reward: immunity from the next nomination! Who among the housemates would prove deserving of such a reward?



Their weekly task also needed the housemates to stay focused, as the skill of flair bartending does not come easily. The housemates worked in pairs and tried to master the tossing and turning of the shakers. Some stood out, some not that much. Of the girls, Sam was the one who seemed the most intent on perfecting the challenge. She also had a special task: to teach everyone synchronized swimming and to teach Carol how to swim. Sam takes to water as fish do, fluidly slicing through the pool and doing headstands underwater. Baby Dengue could only look on in envy from the sidelines.

Melai has been busy with a full house, spending more time with other members of the household than just Baby Dengue. Jason, even after his romantic revelation, has the habit of teasing Melai by bringing up Mariel’s name as a more favorable choice for a partner. His attention-seeking attempt backfired, though, when Melai just turned her sights elsewhere, pushing him to revert to his sweet gestures.

Melai has honed the skill of easy and friendly banter. She is quite enthusiastic when she throws witty comebacks with Rica. To an outsider, their comments may seem harsh or insensitive. To those who have seen them together, it is just one of their usual bonding moments.
