Rica speaks of Melai and Cathy on Uber!

Rica visited the set of Uber today, the first after her eviction. As always, the goddess was all smiles and projected the confidence of a winner. Of all the housemates, she had gotten close to Melai, whom she considered her best friend and sister in the house. Rica felt flattered at the tears shed by her BFF, but also hoped that Melai would be able to regain her footing soon and have the strength to move on and fight. The two had a talk before the eviction night, where Rica stressed the importance of staying strong in the face of all the trials. Rica also hoped that Jason could lend a hand in lifting Melai’s spirits in her absence.



Rica also expounded on her controversial statement during her interview on The Buzz last Sunday about Cathy’s less than genuine character. Rica did not hold back her disappointment on her former housemate. After her eviction, she found out that it was Cathy who constantly nominated her, with her noise being the primary reason. Considering that her noise was done in fun where all the others joined in, she could not understand how that became a point against her. Besides, it wasn’t like Cathy did anything to warn her against it. The fact that she opted to join in and said nothing to lessen Rica’s volume showed Rica that Cathy did not show true concern for her. On the other hand, she holds nothing against Johan stamping her with the automatic 3 points. It was not because she had a crush on him; rather, she found his reason of her being a strong contender a more acceptable reason than the volume of her voice.

Another shocking revelation was the apparent absence of Kuya in the house. As reported by Toni last night, Kuya is currently out of commission due to over-fatigue. Despite this, the show must go on, and Big Utol stepped in. On today’s Game Uber, the housemates had a simple game of Jack en Poy, Talo-Palo Hoy. The housemates played the traditional jack en poy game, where the winner had to bop the loser on the head with a stick. Of course, the loser could save himself the sharp pain if he could move fast enough to wear the hardhat before the stick hit.
