The “Toy Factory” spells a clean win or a tied game!
“Toy Factory” is the theme of today’s activity, testing the housemates’ creativity and resourcefulness. Clad in kiddie clothes, the housemates were given varied art and scrap materials that they would use to come up with different toys. Not only do they have to design and conceptualize the toys, they also have to create it themselves. These toys would then be displayed in the activity area, and would be judged by the Goin’ Bulilit kids.
Both houses brainstormed about what they wanted their toys to be. House A’s toys were educational, useful and appealing to children. House B focused on portraying knowledge, creativity and safety. It was interesting to note that both houses came up with replicas of the PBB house and their own version of dolls. Rica, the emergent leader of House A, reminded the others about the importance of packaging and presentation. Tibo showed his fatherly concern by thinking up games that would distract kids from excessive computer use. In addition to classic toys, they came up with board games and trinkets as well. In House B, Yuri brought up the importance of preparing a sales pitch to market their toys. Rob put his own two cents too, believing that the neighboring house was sure to criticize their toys and that they should be ready to criticize their opponent’s creations as well. House B was also intent in thinking up a name for their toy line, considering names such as “Kids Business Center” to “Little Housemates Fun Haven”.
What cool toys have the housemates come up with? See how they relived their childhood (or how they didn’t) and stay updated with the goings-on in Kuya’s house. House B bagged the prize for the singing competition and the cook-off, and one more win will have them bringing home the top prize. House A prevented this by winning the Utak Attack, with Jason surprising everyone with a perfect score. Will today’s toy making competition spell House B’s win, or will House A manage a tie?
