The cast of Tanging Yaman enters the Big Brother House!

It seemed such an ordinary day: the sun was up and the housemates were just talking and playing by the pool. Talking about what, probably of winning their weekly task for succeeding in producing 2, 010 kicks per team (Johan's and Sam's) therefore earning the opportunity of giving out 2, 010 pairs of slippers to those who need it across the country. Or it could have been about Mariel's productive special challenge in teaching the three bratty preschoolers Denggue, Chuckie and Clownie. Nothing whatsoever was really crisp new about the day, just their usual talks and ramblings.

So when the main door of the house banged open and belched out men with video camera, tripod and other shooting equipment, the housemates were naturally flabbergasted! For one, nobody ever came in through that door and the other thing was that nobody ever came in that strong, confident, we-don't-care-who-we-bump-into way. These men rapidly barked out orders to them and probably because they were in the state of shock, the housemates unhesitatingly followed their commands. They moved out furniture and cleared out some of their stuff so those men could wind up with a "set," just as they asked.

Later on, their daze and confusion were answered with enlightenment. The young stars of the new drama series Tanging Yaman such as Melissa Ricks, Enchong Dee, Erich Gonzales and two of Pinoy Big Brother's successful former housemates Matt Evans and Ejay Falcon came into view and started acting out a scene as ordered by their director Manny Palo. The whole thing may have seemed authentic but in truth, they were just out to fool the housemates! And to add to the fun, some of them were even let in on the set by being extras like Paul Jake, Tibo, Mariel, Kath and Sam who were chosen to play some of the characters. Little did they know it was all part of a challenge for them as Kath was asked to cry for no apparent reason and Paul Jake was "accidentally" pushed into the pool by Ejay!

But unbeknownst to the cast and crew of Tanging Yaman, they were actually the one being played by Big Utol! Just when they had finished their fake shoot, Melissa, Enchong, Erich, Matt and Ejay were called into the confession room. They were interrogated on what they were doing inside the house of his brother (Big Brother) and why. In their panic and anxiety, the young stars were almost tongue-tied in trying to explain that they were just following orders from their director and delivered their lines for the asked scene. More especially when the girls - Melissa and Erich - were told by Big Utol about not being able to leave the house! "Ay, wag kayong magjoke ng ganyan! (Oh, don't make jokes like that)" was what constantly came out of their mouths. Luckily for them, Big Utol was just being his playful self again and let them go!
