Sam may now conquer the world!

I think I can do whatever I want now." That's what Sam Pinto said as the most important thing she learned from her stay inside the Big Brother house. She received a total of 8.46%save and evict votes, coming third after Johan's 10.19% and Jason's 34.46%.
First perceived by her housemates as someone who was shy and reluctant to mingle, she was able to turn that around by expressing more of herself during the past days of her stay. Inside the house, she learned to open up about the intimate details of her life to different people.



For one, it was during the Christmas Ball last year when she poured her feelings out of being somehow avoided by most guys because of her intimidating beauty. Along with Rica who then also cried about being rejected and ridiculed, Sam said she resented how some boys don't even dare try because of their fear of being turned down by her.

Another of Sam's heartfelt confessions would be the time that she spoke about the status of her parents' relationship in the dinner date Hermes asked her to, together with Tibo and Rica. She told them she didn't even know what was the root of the breakup of her mom and dad. But even so, she understood that there are differences in life that just can't be reconciled. Fortunately, she has already accepted the way their family now works and regards her mom as the closest person to her heart.

But the closest thing to her heart next to her mom would most likely be her passion for fashion. As a student of fashion design, Sam used her undeniably impressive dress-making skills - plus a good nine-year-long modeling career - as both an outlet and as an aid to the weekly tasks and other special challenges she and her housemates underwent inside the house. She was able to showcase tiger-prints-inspired outfirst that she designed during the New Year concert called the Pinoy Big Blast 2010: A Roaring Concert, which gained praise and cheers from her housemates and the audience. With these, Sam has proved again and again that she was not just a pretty face. That beneath that stunning appearance lies an equally beautiful personality with a dynamic and creative intellect.
