Big sacrifices for big surprises!

Kuya has not been idle the entire season, and even with the Big Night only a couple of weeks away, the surprises just keep pouring in. Though obviously still competing with each other, the relationships formed between the housemates went beyond the prizes at stake. Tibo, Jason and Paul Jake were all willing to make sacrifices for their other housemates to tie up some loose ends.



Paul Jake was asked to mimic Mariel on several occasions and freeze in place for more than 10 minutes. Despite the difficulty, he was able to complete the task and give Mariel a chance to talk with her son’s father. Jason walked around the pool for the distance equivalent to that of walking from the PBB house to GenSan. To keep him going, Kuya gave him interesting characters to portray: a gorilla about to give birth, a bow-legged model, an arrogant action star, and a drunken martial artist. All these he did for Melisa to talk with her ex-boyfriend. Today, Tibo had his underarm hair threaded so that Johan could talk with his dad. For someone who has been through a lot of tough spots in life, Tibo was teary-eyed at the process but managed to see it through.

11 days left before the big night and, despite the brewing tension, the housemates still had time to conjure up crazy activities to busy themselves with. They spent their down times by the pool, chatting or doling themselves up. They also enjoy clowning around in the water, splashing and playing invented games. Tibo also took time to spruce the place up, by taking a cleaning rag and wiping every surface clean. Seems like he took it a step further, and rubbed even Kuya’s cameras! Out of sheer boredom or loneliness, Tibo found himself holding a one-way conversation with the unseen production crew. Ah, the end is just days away, Papa Tibs!

The season ended prematurely for the lovely Señora, the latest to join the ranks of the ex-housemates. Mommy Kath, as she is fondly referred to, dropped by for a quick chat with Mariel on Uber. She shared that she was really happy for the amazing experience she had inside Kuya’s house, and was thankful for every moment. Former housemate and her real-life hubby, Jimson, welcomed her and eased the pain of leaving the house. Despite the marital disputes of the two, they were indeed very much in love. Her son also welcomed her, yet because of her long absence, was quite wary of her at first. Of course, Mommy Kath cannot be forgotten and pretty soon, her son was cuddling up to her again. Asked who she thought would be evicted, Kath found it quite difficult to give names. It was only upon the urging of Mariel that she named Tibo and Mariel, though she could not give reasons as to why. Melisa was her big winner, primarily because of her charisma with the people in the outside world. Personally, she attested that Melisa’s candor and sincerity would pull her through.

Another big thing going for Melisa was the Jason factor. Big winner or not, her blooming relationship with her fellow housemate promises that she’d exit the house with much to look forward to. Stay updated with the status of the Melason tandem as Jason asks the help of Kuya to woo Melisa. Another baring of hearts for couples tonight, as Melisa and Jason have a revelation of sorts and Mariel follows suit with her son’s father. Watch PBB Double Up Primetime tonight!
