The Big Five receives some big news!

One of the most stressful things about being inside the Big Brother house is that part where the housemates are being shut off from the world they've long known. No connection to the outside world, especially with their families, friends and other loved ones. Similar to a news blackout was what happened to them since they stepped inside the house four months ago.



But because the Big Five has been doing so well with the tasks and all and has come this far in the game, Big Brother decided it was time for them to reconnect and be updated with the real world outside. He flashed a mini news program anchored by former housemate Gretchen Malalad, reporting on familial events the Big Five missed while they were inside the house.

Even though the news bits did not directly point out whose belonged to whom, the housemates were still able to identify themselves with them. For instance, Melai knew it was her grandmother who was rushed to the hospital after being bitten by a cat, because she knew for a fact that the latter sheltered those furry animals as pets. Johan also owned the news bit where it said about a bracelet being pawned, which was his mother's.

Bad or good news, let's hope those news were able to encourage the housemates even more to hold on to their last days inside the house! Find if it really did by watching PBB Double Up every night!
