Jason, Johan, Tibo, Paul Jake and Melisa feel the Big 5 vibe!

It began with the announcement that lifted a big weight off their chests: they were all winners! No one was going to get booted out, and they could all rest knowing that when they step out of the house, they would leave as one of the Big 5. Jason, Melisa, Paul Jake, Johan and Tibo indulged in a private concert to celebrate the news. Celebrity ex-housemate Macoy Fundales jammed with them, while Kuya provided them with drinks and finger food. This, in fact, was just the front act of a series of performances, this time by the Big 5 themselves!



The housemates have been spending their final week knee-deep in rehearsals. Tonight is the Big 5 Concert, live on Primetime from the house’s activity area. Being the lone female, Melisa enjoyed the limelight as the boys serenaded her and she took centerstage in her Lady Gaga number. Teacher Lindy, a performance coach, also stepped in the house to help the housemates polish their act. Johan pulled off his song with confidence, while Paul Jake stumbled a bit to perfect his tones. Jason belted the lyrics with gusto, though Teacher Lindy had to remind him to take time to breathe. Melisa stepped in for their duet, and though fully made up, she was quite apprehensive in displaying her singing prowess. In any case, she continued on and just made a note to herself to drink salabat.

Winners they truly were, and they felt their star status as they took a break from rehearsals to take pictures. This was no simple point-and-shoot, but an all-out pictorial for the season’s top. No spotlights, reflectors or long dresses could stop Melisa’s bubbly nature. It was all fun and laughter for the Big 5 as they anticipate the Big Night.
