ohan takes home the house and lot for his family!
The white room challenge may have appeared easy to most people but from the looks of the faces of Johan and Jason, it kind of looked bad. Almost halfway through the challenge, they were scratching their heads and staring blankly through the walls. Surely it was because on one hand, they weren't allowed to talk or sleep, like in Paul Jake's words, "There's nothing to do there." Plus they were only allowed to intake white-colored food such as porridge and milk.
After 24 hours of confining the two inside the white room, Big Brother sensed that Jason and Johan deserved a break from the challenge, thus granting them with a three-minute talk. While Jason approached carefully, Johan did otherwise. His strong desire for the house and lot ran him over, pushing him to discourage Jason to go on with the fight. "Kung kotse 'yan ibibigay ko sa iyo, pero hindi ko kayang ibigay 'tong bahay sa iyo, 'tol (If it were a car, I'd give it to you but I just can't hand this house over to you)," he added.
Afterwards, it took just minutes for Jason to reach a decision. While he announced he was only going to go to the toilet, pushing the red buzzer was what he really did. Jason explained his surrender later by saying, "Oo, mas masarap manalo pero parang napakahirap kase at parang makokonsensya ka ng konti kase natalo mo siya (Yes, it would be great to win but it's very difficult since you'll be feeling guilty because you beat him)."
On the other hand, Johan was grateful to Jason about the whole thing of the latter's surrender. During the last live eviction night earlier, he was near tears as Big Brother showed him a video clip of his family checking out the house and lot he won for them in Xevera, Mabalacat. And the words "I'm very lucky, very blessed and very happy" were what he used to express the gratitude he felt towards Big Brother and his housemates who gave way for him to win the special prize.
